What the room actually does

The institution menus cover facilities, fans, identity and the relationship with football authorities. League assembly is the last of those. A law that looks moral in October can be a hole in the summer if you did not model the cost. Maximum loans, minimum squad size and other competition rules already sit on the standings side of the same world. The assembly is how those rules move mid-save instead of staying as flavour text.

Year two, English calendars, and patched votes

A public bug blocked correct voting in the assembly during the second year. The 14 August 2026 “Big New Update” fixed it. If you are in year two and the buttons feel dead, update before you assume the feature was cut. English leagues with more fixtures used to end in July instead of June; that calendar error was patched in the same pass. A wrong end date makes assembly timing feel late even when you voted on time. Check patch notes when the year refuses to close cleanly.

Do not plan a 0.2 European night into a 0.1 assembly. Version 0.1 is England and Spain, six divisions. The roadmap sketches a European competition with league phases and knockouts, plus extra nations, for a later phase. The laws you vote on now are the laws of the pyramid you actually sit in. Club picks still decide whether those laws hurt in a readable way. League One and Segunda make a fine visible. A Premier League television cheque can hide it until you repeat the mistake on a smaller chair.

How to vote like an owner

Read the law as a cost, then as a sporting constraint, then as a fan sentence. A rule that limits loans interacts with how to negotiate transfers. A rule that tightens squad size interacts with depth you already failed to sign. A rule that sounds like “protect the academy” interacts with the youth academy lock: coaches stay hidden until the building exists, and under-16s cannot be promoted to the first team. Voting yes because the heading is pretty is how you buy a fine you already saw in the forecast and ignored.

Fan mood already moves when you change culture on the vision board. Assembly laws sit in the same family: delayed social cost plus delayed money. If club vision promised affordable tickets, do not vote for a commercial squeeze that fights that sentence, then act surprised when ticket prices and happiness drift.
